When designing our system, we asked a critical question:
How can we help athletes secure sponsorships sustainably, without compromising their primary focus – their sport and personal well-being?
The answer lies in creating a model where sponsorship commitments seamlessly integrate into an athlete’s professional journey – not as an added burden but as an enhancement.
At the heart of this approach is a foundational principle:
A fully sponsored professional athlete dedicates up to one working day per week to fulfilling sponsorship responsibilities.
This ensures athletes can:
To achieve this balance, we calculate an athlete’s daily sponsorship value based on their monthly sponsorship commitment. Assuming an athlete works one day per week on sponsorship obligations, this translates to four working days per month.
The formula is simple:
Daily Sponsorship Value = Monthly Sponsorship Value / 4 days
For example, if an athlete’s monthly sponsorship value is €3,000, their daily sponsorship value is €750.
This method ensures that the time athletes spend engaging with sponsors is both valuable and sustainable, benefiting all stakeholders involved.
